Organization of the school year
The period of school teaching in the school year 2020/2021 will start in all primary schools, secondary schools, basic art schools and conservatories on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 . Classes will end in the first semester on Thursday, January 28, 2021 . The school term in the second semester will end on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 .
The autumn holidays are set by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports for Thursday, October 29, and Friday, October 30, 2020 .
The Christmas holidays will begin on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 and end on Sunday, January 3, 2021 . Classes will begin on Monday, January 4, 2021 .
The one – day half – year holiday falls on Friday, January 29, 2021 .
The spring break will be from February 1 to February 7, 2021 .
The Easter holidays will be on Thursday, April 1, 2020 . Friday, April 2, 2021 is the so-called other holiday according to Act No. 245/2000 Coll., On public holidays, on other holidays, on important days and on public holidays, as amended.
The main holidays will last from Thursday 1 July 2020 to Tuesday 31 August 2020 . The period of school teaching in the school year 2021/2022 will begin on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 .

The founder of the school
The founder of the Primary School and the Basic Art School Jablonné v Podještědí is the town of Jablonné v Podještědí.
The school building was first opened on October 1, 1973. Since January 1, 1993, the school has had legal personality. From January 1, 2012 – ZŠ and ZUŠ Jablonné in Podještědí. The school includes a school canteen and a school club.
Now there are 18 classes and 4 departments of the school group. The school is currently attended by 404 pupils. Teaching takes place in all years according to the SEP ZV – “The way to knowledge”.
In addition to teaching, the school provides extracurricular activities. Sports clubs develop their activities under the banner of ŠSK ZŠ (School Sports Club) – the head of KP. Sports sections – athletics, table tennis and dance group. The school also offers students a ceramic ring.
