The history of the Czech grammar school in Teplice began in 1945. True, preparations for its opening date back to the 1930s, but the Munich betrayal caused considerable delay. Classes began on September 1, 1945 in a beautiful building on Mont de Ligne (Postal 3). The school functioned as a real grammar school until 1953, when the unfortunate school reforms began, which gradually transformed it into an eleven-year high school, a twelve-year high school and a general secondary school, so that in 1968 it became a grammar school again.
