The General Hospital Asclepeion in Voula has operated since 1921. In the last years it frequently transforms from a specialized Orthopedic to a General Hospital in order to cover the increasing needs of the wider area servicing 1,500,000 residents. They have added a Pathology, Cardiology, Psychiatric and Child Psychiatric Clinics and the units have been expanded and are excellently equipped.
