Nova Gradiška is located in the southwestern part of eastern Croatia and is the second largest city in Brod-Posavina County. Located along extremely important roads, the highway Zagreb – Slavonski Brod – Belgrade and the railway Zagreb – Vinkovci, it is in contact with the old Krajina road („Old Road“), and through the city passes the state road to Požega and Našice.
The town territorially belongs to 4 settlements – Kovačevac, Nova Gradiška, Ljupina and Prvča.
