Management and Maintenance of Local Water Supply Systems in the Municipality of Trnovo

By decision of the Trnovo Municipal Council, No. 01-23-2122/10 of July 22, 2010, on delegating part of municipal activities, the core activity of Public Utility Company “Trnovo” d.o.o. Trnovo was defined for the territory of the Municipality of Trnovo.

According to this Decision, as the first post-war company established in the Municipality of Trnovo for the purpose of performing public services specifically, maintaining facilities for both collective and individual municipal consumption the company was entrusted with managing and performing part of the municipal activities related to the regular provision of drinking water to the citizens of Trnovo, from local water supply systems.

The management and maintenance of local water supply systems in the Municipality of Trnovo are carried out through administrative and territorial division of responsibilities among public companies registered for water collection, treatment, and distribution services.

Additional Services

In addition to managing local water supply systems, Public Utility Company “Trnovo” d.o.o., Trnovo performs services of special social interest within its registered activities, aimed at improving living and working conditions for citizens, businesses, and other entities in the Municipality of Trnovo.

Among other services, JKP “Trnovo” provides:

• Cleaning and maintenance of local roads
• Repair and construction of sewer systems
• Repair and construction of water facilities and networks
• Mechanical excavations
• Transportation of goods and materials
• Rental of construction or demolition equipment with an operator
• Collection and maintenance of parking areas
