The 44th Government of Montenegro consists of the Prime Minister, seven Deputy Prime Ministers, twenty-five ministries, and a Minister without portfolio.

  • Prime Minister – Represents the Government, ensures political unity, chairs sessions, and coordinates ministers.
  • Deputy Prime Ministers – Oversee key areas: security, defense, justice, education, international relations, economy, and regional development.
  • General Secretariat – Organizes government sessions, coordinates strategic documents, and informs the public.

Key Ministries include:

  • Foreign Affairs & European Affairs – EU integration and international relations.
  • Finance & Economy – Fiscal policy, budgeting, business climate, and competitiveness.
  • Defense & Interior – National security, defense policy, border management, and police affairs.
  • Education, Science & Innovation – School system development, research, and innovation.
  • Tourism, Culture & Media – Promoting tourism, cultural heritage, and creative industries.
  • Energy & Mining – Energy policy, efficiency, and resource management.
  • Agriculture, Forestry & Water Management – Supporting farmers and sustainable use of resources.
  • Health – Healthcare policy, modern medical equipment, and infrastructure.
  • Labor, Social Care & Human Rights – Employment, social dialogue, protection of vulnerable groups, and minority rights.
  • Transport & Infrastructure – Roads, railways, maritime and air transport, and capital projects.
  • Ecology & Sustainable Development – Environmental protection, climate change, and natural resources.

Other Institutions:

Tax Administration, Customs, Police Directorate, Food Safety Agency, Statistical Office, Railway Authority, Archives, CIRT (Cyber Security Team), Labor Fund, Compensation Fund, and others ensure the functioning of state administration.
