Blood center

The Blood Center of the North-Estonian Regional Hospital is the largest institution in Estonia that manufactures blood components and is part of the hospital’s diagnostic clinic.

Our mission is to collect blood, prepare, test, store and dispense blood components and ensure that blood components are available to healthcare facilities around the clock.

The blood hospital of the regional hospital supplies blood components to 14 Estonian hospitals. Our mission is to provide patients and physicians with a high level of transfusion medicine services and products to help maintain and restore patients’ health.

The Blood Center is constantly developing transfusion medicine and offers citizens the opportunity to volunteer – to donate blood to help save and heal lives.
