Cultural events and festivities
Association of friends of the organs of Forbach (AMOFOR)
The association of the Friends of the organs of Forbach organizes about twenty events per year which bring together 3,000 listeners. Numerous concerts, visits to instruments, educational projects, exhibitions are offered throughout the year and, above all, during the Forbach-Völklingen Organ Festival.
Forbach-Völklingen Organ Festival
The organ festival Forbach-Völklingen was born from the desire to make the twinning of the two municipalities Forbach (France, Moselle) and Völklingen (Germany, Saar) a reality through a cultural project . The presence of four remarkable organs in these towns constitutes an important cultural and musical heritage, especially since these four instruments complement each other from a stylistic point of view.
