A resolution passed by the council in March 2007 changed the legal form of Liberec Regional Hospital from a contributory organisation to a joint stock company. As of 1 July 2007 all aspects of medical care were taken on from Liberec Regional Hospital by the joint stock company of the same name. The hospital is headed by the chair of the board of directors, MUDr. Luděk Nečesaný, MBA, while his closest subordinates in the organisational structure are the three directors: MUDr. Martin Zítek (medical), Ing. Miloslava Tanečková (economic) and Ing. Aleš Stránský, MBA, MSc (technical and investment).
