Vésztő is a town in Békés county, in the Southern Great Plain region of south-east Hungary.

Approach
It can also be reached by road from Szeghalom and Gyula on the road 4234 connecting the two cities . It is connected to Mezőberén by road 4237, which branches off from the former road near the southern border , through Bélmegyer . Körösújfalu road connection with the 4222 road , Komádi in the 4222’s and 4223’s roads ensure Okány is from the 4235 Series means available.
It can be reached by train on the MÁV 127 Körösnagyharsány – Vésztő – Gyoma railway line and on the 128 Békéscsaba – Kötegyán – Vésztő – Püspökladány railway line . (The two railway lines run on a common route between Vésztő and Szeghalom railway stations .)
