LähiTapiola is a Finnish financial group selling insurance services , which was formed by the merger of Lähivakuutus and Tapiola . The LähiTapiola Group is a group of companies owned by its customers and serving personal, farm, entrepreneurial, corporate and institutional customers. In addition to non-life, life and pension insurance, the group’s products and services include investment and savings services.
Organization
LähiTapiola’s head office is located in Tapiola , Espoo . The LähiTapiola Group consists of non-life and life insurance companies as well as asset management, financing and real estate management companies and 20 regional companies. In 2020, the group had about 1.6 million owner-customers, about 3,400 employees and more than 200 branches throughout Finland.
In autumn 2020, in addition to the regional companies, the LähiTapiola Group included nationwide companies
- LähiTapiola Non-life Insurance , which covers all voluntary and statutory non-life insurance
- LähiTapiola Mutual Life Insurance Company , which sells life and savings insurance as well as supplementary pension insurance solutions to individuals and corporate customers
- LähiTapiola Asset Management is focused on asset management
- LähiTapiola Real Estate Asset Management provides real estate investment and property management services
- LähiTapiola Finance specializes in financing vehicles and machines through car dealerships
- LähiTapiola Services provides support and development services to other companies in the LähiTapiola Group, among other things
- LähiTapiola Alternative Funds manages alternative funds for the real estate, equity, debt capital, equity and fixed income funds it manages
