Health Center Hospital

The hospital has two wards, a total of 56 beds.
The wards are located at Kaarina Central Health Station at Voivalantie 5.

Treatment in wards

The departments have a multi-professional working group, which in addition to the nursing staff includes a doctor, a physiotherapist and a social worker. In addition, we have e.g. speech therapist and diabetes nurse. We also cooperate with the parish.

Our treatment is individual and holistic. Our rehabilitative care includes daily activities and exercise training, aid assessments, individual physiotherapy, medication screening, home care service needs assessment and planning, and social support.

Relatives can participate in the patient’s recovery, for example:

• helping with eating
• assisting in mobility and outdoor activities
• taking home vacation
• acting as an accompaniment to studies in other hospitals.

Our nursing staff has a duty of confidentiality in all matters related to patients and care.
