Clipsa, Clinica Particular de Saúde was inaugurated in 1989 with the opening of the headquarters at 25 de Abril, 46 in Silves and a branch in Portimão at 27, 1º Teófilo de Braga.

Over the years, Clipsa, whose objective is physical and mental health, has dedicated itself to providing the entire population with a good service in the field of medicine, psychology and reeducation, psychomedical and pedagogical.

Corresponding to the needs of this same population, Clipsa created another establishment in Silves just for the exercise of physical medicine and rehabilitation, which has been the object of improvements and updates by its technicians aiming at the latest innovations in the field of recovery in physiatry, always providing the best service to our users.

In this way, the Silves Physiotherapy center with all the advantages of this area, from speech therapy, occupational therapy, psychomotricity and others and with all agreements with subsystems including the national health service (ARS) serves not only the population of the municipality of Silves as well as of all neighboring counties.

Subsequently, Clipsa was created in Armação de Pêra and a new building was recently opened at Praia da Rocha in Portimão, which, like the others, has all the benefits and also aims to provide a true service of monitoring and proximity to the patient and their families.

The psycho-pedagogical and reeducative support to children and adolescents with psychomotor and learning difficulties has also been one of the strengths in the clinic’s activity, where special techniques in the different areas of psychology are privileged.

The 26 years of service provided by Clínica Clipsa has already made this institution a reference in global health, for the population of the Algarve and beyond, thanks to a group of professionals, from doctors of various specialties, nurses and other health technicians as well as all the employees who work there and who were involved in this project of great proximity in global and family health with the user who seeks our services.
