The Escola Superior de Tecnologia de Tomar is an organic higher education unit within the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar. It is positioned in areas that are fundamental to the development of the Region, where, within the scope of training, technology transfer, innovation and development in the areas of Technologies, Arts and Sciences are inserted. The training offer covers undergraduate courses, undergraduate courses, postgraduate courses and lifelong training in the areas of Engineering, and Arts and Heritage.

It is located on the Tomar Campus, where there is a set of modern infrastructures to support students, namely, properly equipped laboratories, library, cafeteria, bar, residences and sports fields, framed in a welcoming environment with extensive green areas.

Transmitting and disseminating knowledge, with a view to training students with a high level of skills in the areas of Engineering and the Arts; promote applied research and its dissemination, cultural, scientific and technological exchange with similar institutions, national and foreign, and the relationship with the business community, in order to contribute to the development of the Region and the Country.
