HMC is one of the 26 top clinical hospitals in the Netherlands. We have an answer to the wide variety of acute and highly complex care needs of the multicultural inhabitants in our internationally oriented region and take into account that some of our patients are less proficient in the language.

Our patients can rely on our wide range of specialist medical care and a number of special and highly complex care functions. We are best known for our acute care, the functionalities for acute interventions and highly complex care and for our care for cancer. We also reach patients outside our region with some of our top clinical functions.

Through cooperation within the network of care partners, our care is available in the neighborhoods of The Hague, in GP practices and online in people’s homes. We are committed to sustainable and efficient cooperation with our care partners, such as GPs, home care organizations, other hospitals in the region and with the LUMC. We shape our care together with the patient as much as possible.
