Free School Amersfoort (VSA) is a primary school based on anthroposophical principles. Creativity, art, nature, connection and movement play an important role. The Vrije School Amersfoort aims to support its students to develop themselves and their talents in connection with their environment in order to grow into free and loving people in the world of today, in contact with the world of today.

She has the following goals:

• At the end of the school period, the child at least meets the core objectives of the education;
• During the school period, the child comes into contact with his own qualities in mind, heart and body and the child is stimulated to further develop these qualities;
• During the school period, the child learns to move freely in social contact, in the context of today’s society.

The school is located in the Schuilenburg district, a residential area from the 1960s. It has a regional function.
The expectation is that the school will continue to grow towards a double-schooled lower school, eventually with 18 classes in total.
