Founded in 1995, the Franciscan Museum and Gallery Gorica researches, collects, preserves and presents artifacts that speak of cultural and historical events in the Livno region from prehistoric times to modern times. It consists of a permanent exhibition of paintings by the famous Bosnian painter Gabriel Jurkić, sacral collection, lapidary, archaeological collection, numismatic collection, collection of old weapons, collection of medical equipment of Fr. Mihovil Sučić, richly equipped library, archive and photo library.
One part of the collections is located in the building of the Franciscan monastery, and the other in the newly built building of the Museum, which also houses a multi-purpose hall for temporary exhibitions. A building from the 19th century was incorporated into the complex of the new Museum. century, once a church and school, in which the ethnographic exhibition is exhibited.
