Pannonian Lakes is an artificial lake of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is located in the municipality of Tuzla. The Pannonian Salt Lakes are the city’s main event when the weather is good, becoming an open air beach of sorts that brings people from all over the region for a refreshing swim, or simply that unbeatable feeling of relaxing with your feet dangling in the water. The artificial lakes are open from May to October and are a must if you’re here in the summer. Tuzla’s history is indelibly linked to salt, and it seems as though much of its future will be as well.
