Het Neerhof is one of the City Farms of Brussels, situated just outside the border of the city (Dilbeek, Flanders). The old historic farm, dating back from 1200, has 10 hectares of land on which we grow crops to feed the animals, as well as vegetables and fruit to use for the project. The main goal is to actively educate children, youngsters and families about farm life. Learning by doing is a the center of all the things we do. Animals on the farm: horses, one pony, cows, pigs, sheep, goats, chicken, rabbits, bees, dogs, cats and all other kinds of smaller insects and animals.

Activities to schools and youth organizations are offered during the week and the school holidays. Those activities consist in taking care of the animals, workshops related to farm life, natural playing and all kind of other things that are often new to city children and youngsters. The farm is also open for all visitors that can enjoy the beautiful environment and on sundays have a drink or pancake in our cafetaria.
