Avant Tecno Oy is an industrial company operating in Ylöjärvi , which manufactures Avant brand small or multi-purpose loaders .

The company originated from the bankruptcy of the agricultural machinery manufacturer Ylö -ehdaat Oy in 1991, when the founders of the new company bought the manufacturing rights for the Ylökatti skid steer loaders from the bankruptcy estate and began to develop the equipment further. 

More than 25,000 Avant loaders have been manufactured. According to CEO Risto Käkelä, Avant is the world market leader in the category of loaders with an unladen weight of less than 2,000 kg. The company has its own sales companies in Germany and the United Kingdom and importers in more than 40 countries.

The main uses of Avant loaders are landscaping and landscaping, construction, property management and agriculture .

Avant Tecno Oy was awarded the President of the Republic’s Internationalization Award in 2008 and in 2007 the National Entrepreneur Award .
