Tourist values
The passer-by first sees the Spherical Lookout on Várdomb. The hill is a quiet and popular excursion destination all year round. The evening lighting of the lookout can also be seen from the more distant shores of Veszprém . Countless summer events on Várdomb attracted larger crowds in the eighties , it had an outdoor stage and an imposing pergola. At the foot of the hill is Hétház Street, which was the first fork in the city. On the main street of the city – along Dózsa György út – the post office is a classicistthe building can be seen by the passer-by. An elegant business district has been built on the site of the old business lines in recent years. Heading towards Fonyód, you can still find civic villas reminiscent of the old light of Balatonboglár to the left. Opposite the new shopping center, the building of the railway station, which has been rebuilt several times, appears. For the long-term holiday and excursion guests in Balatonboglár, it shows the diverse face of the city.
For decades, the fact that the end point of the Balaton crossing is here has been attracting crowds to Balatonboglár .
