Bedeteca hosts more than 40 thousand publications, including albums, books, magazines and fanzines, and assumes itself as a privileged space for offering Comics throughout the year, also betting on new technologies and digital comics. 

In addition to the areas dedicated to albums, books and magazines, Bedeteca has:
– Two exhibition areas (a larger one with an exhibition program between four and six months and a smaller one, for exhibitions that remain in place between six and seven weeks ); 
– An area dedicated to Bedeteca Júnior;
– Fanzineteca Geraldes Lino, which hosts the extensive collection donated by Geraldes Lino, founding partner and director of the Portuguese Comics Club. This room is equipped with a projection system;
– Laboratory with two drawers for four places.

It has 38 seats, for reading, consultation and use of new technologies in 4 stations and a tactile table.

In its documentary background it has a collection of originals by contemporary authors and a collection of Periodical Publications in the area of ​​Comics and Illustration from the beginning of the 20th century.

The Bedeteca can be visited on the 2nd floor of the Municipal Library Fernando Piteira Santos, from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10 am to 6 pm.
Closing: Sundays, holidays, Saturdays in August and 16 August.
