Bègles is a commune in the Gironde department in southwestern France . It is a suburb of the city of Bordeaux and is adjacent to it on the south.

Since September 2008, the Festival’s programming has been exclusively devoted to animated cinema and special effects. The cinema has two theaters with 290 and 80 seats.
