Biharkeresztes is a town in Hajdú-Bihar County , Berettyóújfalu District .
Sights
- Reformed Church – during the restoration work, it was revealed that some of its windows were built in the Romanesque style , which proves that the parts in question may have been built in the Árpádian period, and the church only came to the Reformed in the 16th century or later. The building was declared a monument in 1988. )
- Catholic Church – Built in 1857 when Catholicism began to revive among the population.
- Bust of István Bocskai, Prince of Transylvania (in front of the grammar school)
- Statue of St. Ladislaus (in front of the Catholic Church)
- Bust of Pál Osváth (at the corner of Ady Endre and Kölcsey streets) and full-length statue (in front of the town hall)
- Monument to the Victims of the First and Second World Wars (Heroes’ Square)
