Center Air Pilot Academy

Denmark

CAPA has almost 30 years of experience in training EASA approved professional pilots via the traditional ATPL pilot training. We place great emphasis on having a good professional training environment and are a leader with new trends in, among other things. education, technology and pedagogy.

Pilot training and MPL (Multi-crew pilot license) are core competencies at CAPA, we are one of Scandinavia’s largest and leading pilot academy with professional pilot training for the pilots of the future.

One of the flight school’s strengths is the close connection to many Danish and international airlines. The school’s approx. 50 permanent and freelance flight instructors work in airlines worldwide. They all know the problems and demands of aviation from their everyday lives. It is absolutely crucial that this knowledge is passed on to the next generation of pilots. Common to these experienced instructors is that they are affiliated with the pilot school because they are enthusiasts. Several of these instructors have taken their own pilot training at CAPA, and they are now returning to teach their future colleagues.

CAPA is based in Copenhagen Airport – Roskilde, in a campus-like environment with 55 dormitory rooms spread over 5 student houses. We find it important to create a safe and solid framework for the teaching that provides the opportunity to become a professional pilot and instructor at several levels. Roskilde Airport is an optimal airport for school flights in several respects. Among other things, the airport has intersecting runways, which means that the wind is rarely an obstacle to the conduct of flight lessons.

The practical part is flown on a fleet of Piper aircraft (Cadet and Seneca), Cessna and Diamond (40/42). Throughout the training, a very synthetic flight trainer / flight simulator is also used. The advantage of putting part of the training on a simulator is that we can effectively train the scenarios we can only talk about in the planes, and in general use the time more efficiently, as well as i.a. implements a final Jet Orientation Course, thus completing our pilots at the level the airlines want.

If you are interested in learning more about the pilot training, you can sign up for one of our information meetings here.

You can also become a pilot for a day by visiting our state-of-the-art Boeing 737 el. Airbus A320 flight simulators – an experience you will never forget! Click here to see more.

As Center Air Pilot Academy is a well-established school with good stable finances, we have chosen to be part of the Danish Transport and Construction Authority’s “Good Practice 1” scheme, which means that you do not pay in advance during your education with us, but pay a fixed amount in arrears each month. Read if necessary. more here. http://www.trafikstyrelsen.dk/DA/Civil-luftfart/Luftfartsuddannelser/Erhvervspilot.aspx

If you want to fly professionally, you must first train professionally!
