CHI at Temple Street (formerly Temple Street Children’s University Hospital), originally founded in 1872, is an acute paediatric hospital which cares for approximately 148,000 children per year from across the country.
With a staff of 95 consultants and over 950 others healthcare professionals (comprising of nursing, paramedical and support staff) it delivers immediate specialised care to sick children.
Over 55,000 of the 145,000 children who attend Temple Street every year, attend our Emergency Department, making it one of the busiest in Europe.
Sick children need great care right now – and that’s why we are committed to supporting the hospital so that it can continue to save little lives.
Every single day, hundreds of sick children and their worried families come through the doors of Temple Street in need of world-class medical care. We raise the funds needed to ensure that these children have access to the very best paediatric equipment, facilities and supports when they need it most.
We are proud to say that we have successfully raised the funds that have helped make CHI Temple Street the world-class hospital it is today. However, our struggle is on-going. Many of our sickest kids depend on machines donated by you to stay alive. So we urge you; please keep helping us help them by clicking on Fundraise, Volunteer or Donate.
