The concept of teaching at the Church Primary School in Třinec continues the tradition of Christian classes, which functioned for 10 years within the experiment of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports at the Slezská Primary School in Třinec. Teaching takes place at the 1st and 2nd level according to the School Educational Program for Basic Education. Teaching is started in individual classes with prayer and a short reading from the Bible, a Christian song. The school has been operating since the school year 2005/2006.

Education in the spirit of Christian ethics:

Teaching is extended by a lesson of Christian education per week at the 1st and 2nd grade. Christian elements are included in the teaching as an extension curriculum within the curriculum of the educational program.

School focus

• To provide quality education at the level of a nine-year primary school resulting from the curricula of the Christian School School Curriculum.
• To enrich the curriculum on teaching English from the 1st year and thus increase the prerequisites for the practical use of the language.
• To provide deeper information from Christian culture than in public schools, to build on the Christian traditions of European society.
• Educate pupils so that their knowledge in all subjects is comparable to that of pupils in public primary schools.
• Emphasize an individual approach to students in the teaching process.
• Focus on the pupil’s personality, his assumptions and possibilities; to develop pupils‘ independent thinking.
• Educate children in the spirit of Christian ethics with an emphasis on respect for God and people.
• To lead students to apply Christian principles in everyday life.
• To lead children to mutual tolerance within different denominations and towards national minorities.

„All the main branches it is supposed to have expel a tree from its trunk in the early years, so later they need nothing more than to grow. It is also the same with a person: „everything matters in the beginning.“ Such is the meaning of childhood. „(JA Comenius) Since we are aware of the truth of this statement, we want to give children the best:
