CRH plc is an Irish international group of diversified building materials businesses, with headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, which manufacture and supply a wide range of products for the construction industry.
The group was formed through a merger in 1970 of two leading Irish public companies, Cement Limited (established in 1936) and Roadstone Limited (1949). The company was established and incorporated in Ireland and in 2013 was the 7th largest Irish company.
CRH has a primary listing on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index. It has secondary listings on the Irish Stock Exchange (where it is a constituent of the ISEQ 20) and New York Stock Exchange.
