Ecoslops, player in the circular economy, is implementing innovative technology to regenerate oil residues into new fuels and light bitumen. The first industrial processing unit of Ecoslops, with an annual production capacity of 30,000 tons / year, is located in the port of Sines (Portugal).Other projects are being developed in Marseilles – La Mède (France), Antwerp (Belgium) and the Suez Canal region (Egypt).
Ecoslops’ technology is based on :
- a perfect mastery of the collection, processing and refining processes of slops and sludges
- and a major innovation: the P2R column.
With its integrated and innovative approach, Ecoslops offers port infrastructure, waste collectors as well as ship owners an economic, ecological, traceable and transparent solution that complies with international and European regulations on the collection and processing of slops.
A first industrial-scale processing unit is operational since June 2015, in the port of Sines, Portugal.
