Esprominho is a professional school, with more than 30 years, which is located in Braga and whose main objective is to have an educational project of excellence, committed, dynamic, interactive and sustained for the surrounding social, cultural and economic development. 
It has several professional courses for students who want to achieve competence, responsibility, assertiveness and adaptability. It also invests in the training of adults, with several courses, since it is never too late to learn.

In 1985 the professional training project Noroeste Pioneira was born, inserted in the cooperative dynamics of Novos Pioneiros, whose precepts of economy and social well-being formed the principles and values ​​of the school. For several years, Noroeste Pioneira, in partnership with its promoting entity, developed numerous actions whose success guaranteed hundreds of young people professional qualification.

In 1999, after a long period of reflection and 10 years of experience, the identification and symbol of the school were changed, its short and medium-term objectives were reinforced and a new strategic cooperation path between other local institutions was defined . Born the Professional School of Minho – Esprominho – educational establishment, legally constituted under Decree-Law nº4 / 98 and other legislation in force, recognized by the Ministry of Education, with the status of private and cooperative education establishment.

Vocational training, taught by the School, took place in two different centers, located in the two capital cities of the Minho region: Braga and Viana do Castelo. Currently, Esprominho is only in Braga, having adequate spaces for the development and support of training activities.
