ETAP (Pombal Technological, Artistic and Professional School) is the first Professional School in Portugal, having been created on September 19, 1989.

The school emerged with the objective of occupying a new space in the education system in force at the time. ETAP’s first and greatest objective was to respond to the needs of training qualified young people in order to fill the shortages of intermediate staff felt in the Center Region and, in particular, in the municipality of Pombal. It is intended that ETAP assumes itself as the first company for students.
