The Fondatie van Boudelo is a nature reserve in the Belgian municipalities of Sint-Niklaas (sub-municipality of Sinaai ) and Stekene .

The nature reserve was established in 1996. An eight-meter-high watchtower was opened in the area in 2019 .  A year later, a collection was made to expand the area by five hectares of land. The intention was to cross the symbolic 100 hectare border.

There are pools, coppice forests, mixed deciduous forests, hay meadows, an orchard, ditches, field roads and many pollard trees. Nesting birds are the woodcock , buzzard , tawny owl , kingfisher , black woodpecker , nightingale , grasshopper warbler and honey buzzard . The pine marten, which is rare in Flanders, also occurs in the Heirnisse-Fondatie forest belt .

The conversion of the former fish ponds into natural pools, partly through the creation of slightly sloping banks with short vegetation, has made the Fondatie van Boudelo in Waasland a top area for dragonflies . Between 2012 and 2014, 28 different dragonfly species were observed in the area, including five Red List species : the Tang Armored Damselfly (Lestes dryas), the Slender Damselfly (Lestes virens), the Variable Damselfly (Coenagrion pulchellum), the Early Glazier (Aeshna isoceles), and the southern imperial dragonfly (Anax parthenope).
