The impressive building Havremagasinet is one of Boden’s largest buildings, a house with a total area of 3,600 m2, spread over six floors.
This listed building is today over 100 years and used to store horse feed, oat, the horses at the Swedish Armed Forces. Nowadays, Havremagasinet houses one of the largest art halls in Sweden and shows exhibitions of contemporary art dealing with topical international themes.
At Havremagasinet there is a historical exhibition that tells about the house, where you can see and experience what the house looked like when it was in use as an oat magazine for the military horses.
