Kunszentmárton is a small town of the county of Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok, central Hungary.

Sights

There are also some listed buildings in the city. The Baroque Roman Catholic Church (St. Martin’s Church), the most beautiful building in the city, was built between 1781-1784. Also a monument are the upper cemetery chapel, the synagogue and the Szentesi út windmill.

Location 

It is located on the left bank of the Hármas-Körös, in the southern part of Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county . It is the southernmost town in the county and in the Northern Great Plain region . It is located 132 kilometers from Budapest , 76 kilometers from Szeged , 50 kilometers from Szolnok and Kecskemét , and 25 kilometers from Szarvas and Szentes . It is located in a completely flat area, within the Great Plain , at the confluence of the Middle Tisza region and the Mureş-Körös region. The city was built in line with one of the bends of the Körös. The center of Tiszazug .
