The Brunssummerheide is a varied nature reserve. Walk through the remnants of the former coniferous forests or along the sections with alternating deciduous forest. Enjoy the space on the open sandy plains and the characteristic pools. The heathland is also varied. You see heather growing in the drier parts and heather in the wetter parts. The heather is interspersed with grasses, shrubs and trees. The variety ensures that many different animals can live. You can’t believe your eyes!
