Malmi hospital is in Helsinki , Malmi district in the hospital area. Completed in 2014, Building 2 has on-call functions: a health center emergency room, a small trauma emergency room, a psychiatric emergency room, a hospital emergency room, an emergency department, a control unit and emergency beds. In addition, the same building houses an internal medicine outpatient clinic, a fracture follow-up outpatient clinic and one geriatric ward, as well as a laboratory and imaging as HUS’s functions. Building 18, on the other hand, houses the wards of Helsinki Hospital. Thus, there is no longer an organization called Malmi Hospital, but different actors are responsible for different functions. The address of the hospital is Talvelantie 6. 

Malmi’s evening, weekend and night emergency services are intended especially for residents of eastern, southeastern, northeastern and northern Helsinki who are at least 16 years old in urgent cases of illness.
