Malta Aviation Museum

What better place to learn about Malta’s military history than a hangar full of World War 2 Airplanes? Situated in the former Air Force Station in Ta’Qali, this awesome museum is a treasure trove of engines, models, and other aviation delights harking back to the 1940s, and is an awesome day out for all the family!

As far as authentic settings go, it doesn’t really get much better than this. With exhibits housed in two hangars, visitors are also free to explore its splendid Warden’s Post and Chapel Garden.

If you think the Romney hanger containing jets, training equipment, and a restoration workshop is impressive, wait till you check out the Battle of Malta hangar.
Choc full of restored World War 2 aircraft including a Spitfire and a Tiger Moth, the hangar is also home to heaps of helicopters and ground equipment too!
