Mandelieu-la-Napoule (often spelled locally Mandelieu La Napoule ) is a French commune , located in the department of Alpes-Maritimes in the region Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur . It is the result of the merger of the municipalities of Mandelieu and La Napoule. Its inhabitants are called the Mandolociens and Napoulois .

Events
The mimosa festival, lasting ten days, has animated the streets of Mandelieu in February since 1931. Like many other towns, Mandelieu-la-Napoule wants to be the capital of mimosa. Since its importation into the xix th century, mimosa has continued to spread and invade natural sites neighbors, are four tonnes of this flower are used each year to fill the tanks parading in the city during the festival mimosa. The second-hand boat show and that of flavors and terroirs also take place in Mandelieu-la-Napoule in November.
