The Museum of Tapestry and Fabric Arts is a museum in Tournai , Belgium . The museum, which evokes an activity that flourished in Tournai the xv ^th to the xviii ^th  century, is an institution whose inauguration dates back to 1990 .

The place hosts permanent collections as well as temporary exhibitions. It outlines tapestries xv ^th – the golden age of Tournai productions – and the xvi ^th . These are remarkable as much for their size as for their narrative richness. Contemporary artists are also honored, from the 1940s until today, including Louis Delfour , Edmond Dubrunfaut and Roger Somville .

The upper floor of the old mansion is reserved for textile art enthusiasts. Some restore, others create. A research center completes the picture.
