Location
Budapest is located about 80 kilometers southeast of Cegléd and Kecskemét halfway between. It is located in the Great Plain , on the sand ridge between the Danube and the Tisza. The area of the city is approx. 35% of the forest, is dominated by oak , poplar , acacia and ash . The name of the city comes from the latter.
