Nagymányok town in Tolna county , the Bonyhádi district . It was declared a city on July 1, 2009.
Location
The town of Nagymányok is located on the northern side of the eastern branch of the Mecsek Mountains, in a beautiful natural environment; administratively on the southern edge of Tolna county, in the Bonyhád district. The southern part of its territory is hilly and hilly in the other directions. It is bordered by Kismányok in the east , Aparhant and Izmény in the north , Váralja in the west and southwest , and the Mecseknádasd and Hidas villages in the Baranya county in the south and southeast . The population of the settlement is 2276.
Nagymányok is located 170 km from the capital, Budapest , 27 km from the county seat, Szekszárd and 45 km from Pécs . It can be approached from all three mentioned cities from the main road 6, on the road 6534 between Bonyhád and Kaposszekcső . The settlement is crossed by the MÁV Dombóvár – Bátaszék railway line No. 50 , which has a stop here. Nagymányok stop is located between Váralja stop and Hidas-Bonyhád railway station .
