In the Natuurpunt Museum, the relationship between nature and heritage is established in four exhibition spaces. The collection, old films and historical works of art are used for this. In addition to the permanent exhibition, the museum also houses temporary exhibitions. It pays a lot of attention to new themes and challenges, such as climate change and urban nature.

Green lung in the center

Behind the gate is the deep garden that has been designed as a natural garden and thus forms a green lung in the center of the city. The garden still contains many original elements, especially woody plants such as the monumental frankincense cypress. Furthermore, new elements have been added, such as the insect corner with bee hotel and an educational pool.
