Natural values
The Danube Valley is a transcontinental ecological corridor. The plain section of the Danube is an ecological unit that is permeable to many freshwater fish species . It is an important migration route for waterfowl populations in the Carpathian Basin . Cormorants , mallards , otters and gulls can be observed here every month of the year . The spring and autumn bird migration in large numbers of waterbird species occur here, typical of the Bean Goose , the common goldeneye , the Tufted Duck , a big crash , a small crash , the Common Sandpiper, the yellow – legged gull and the kingfisher On the slopes of the northern line of Gerecse , during the viticulture , erosive deep roads were formed, in the shores of which the highly protected bee is a typical nest .
On the milder slopes of the northern part of Gerecse , the girl anemone and the spring heron bloom in early spring . In the hornbeam oak groves, the barren Celtic and the medical solomon seal open en masse in the spring .
