In 1930 the first oil mill was born from the idea and the care of Sebastiano Messina. Today Olearea Jonica has been producing extra virgin olive oil for three generations in the olive groves of Acireale and Randazzo. The company deals with the production of local oil in the Etnea area from the Nocellara Etnea and Randazzese (brandofina) cultivars and milling for third parties.Furthermore, during the harvesting periods, it will be possible to buy oil at the mouth of the mill. It is therefore possible to watch the entire olive processing cycle and buy the oil just obtained directly. Olearea Jonica, in addition to direct sales on site, carries out shipments throughout Italy.
