The town of Pacsa is in the Zalaegerszeg district of Zala county , the center of the Pacsai micro-region , in the Zala hills , in the area of the Zalaapáti ridge . There is a civil guard in the city.
Location
Pacsa is located on the eastern edge of the Valley of the Principal Canal , on the slopes of the Zala Hills . Passes through the town from east to west on the 75 main road , which Nagykanizsa from the relatively higher turnover 7527 road , Esztergályhorváti – Dióskál hand, the minor 7526-os road leads into or linked to some other, less traffic, the as well as a side road connecting with neighboring settlements.
Bus services connect Nagykanizsa, Zalaegerszeg and Keszthely ; in addition, some flights from the surrounding settlements go here.
The Szombathely – Nagykanizsa railway line passes through the settlement , which also has a station here: the Zalaszentmihály-Pacsa railway station is located relatively far from the settlement, about 5 kilometers. The station also receives passenger trains from Zalaegerszeg and Nagykanizsa, and fast trains from Pécs and Szombathely .

Archery
There has been an active archery life in the village since the 1990s. On May 19-20, 2001, the Hungarian round of the 3D Archer European Cup was held here in Pacsá, around Lake Pacsai. This year, the archery course of the Euroház2000 association was inaugurated, where ZAMÍSZ (Zala County Archery Association) regularly holds archery competitions and demonstrations.
