The City Council of Mostar, at its 50th session held on November 27, 2007, adopted Decision

No. 01-02-333/07 on the establishment of a public company for municipal waste management under the name Public Company “Deponija” Ltd. Mostar, headquartered in Mostar (“Official Gazette of the City of Mostar” No. 13/07), and it was registered with the Municipal Court in Mostar, Registration Decision No. 1-12216 dated February 27, 2008.

The abbreviated name of the company is P.C. “Deponija” Ltd. Mostar, and the founder of the company is the City of Mostar with 100% ownership.

Our mission is to develop and operate a modern regional sanitary landfill for non-hazardous waste, ensuring waste is managed and treated in an environmentally responsible and technologically advanced manner.

In addition to waste disposal, we are actively involved in waste recycling, contributing to sustainable development and environmental protection in the region.

Since September 1, 2014, we have been fully operational in waste collection, recycling, and disposal, serving the community with a focus on efficiency, safety, and ecological sustainability.
