Location
It is located south of the Villány Mountains , on the westernmost corner of the Great Plain, on the Nyárád – Harkányi plain . In its neighborhood lies Harkány to the west , while Nagytótfalu is the next settlement to the east . To the south is Matty , a few miles from the Drava ; on some sections of the river it is also the Croatian – Hungarian border. It is the second southernmost city in Hungary in close competition with Harkány .
