Singletrail Muttersberg

Austria

The Muttersberg single trail is a great mountain bike experience. With more than 700 vertical meters covering almost 5 km its an almost endless gravity experience. The trail starts at the cable car mountain station at 1,401 m and was created as a multi-trail, where each section has its own character, A bike experience of a special kind for all enthusiastic downhill bikers.

The Muttersberg Trail is, according to its topography, divided into 3 sectors. Section 1 is initially designed as a flowline with smaller waves and jumps to get used to terrain and biking before heading into steeper terrain. Then in section 2, there are several steep turns and speed passages where rapid changes of direction are required. However, relaxation phases on flow sections are always possible in between. Section 3 forms the Jumpline, where jump sequences can provide massive airtime, but can also be avoided. After some New School and Bikepark elements, the 4th section has the natural obstacles such as roots and stones. The trail is signposted along its entire length and provided with an all-weather gravel surface.

Summed up, the single trail at the Muttersberg is a true gem for bikers of all classes: downhillers, freeriders or endurists – on this trail, every rider feels comfortable and can quickly enjoy the terrain and enjoy the route.
