Where can you enjoy snow adventures?

The scent of winter in the air immediately evokes thoughts of snow-covered slopes and plains. Before making a final decision about where you’ll be zigzagging this winter or simply enjoying other winter activities, here are some reasons why you should spend your winter break in Slovenia. Slovenian ski resorts may be smaller than some of the others in Europe, but the experiences they offer, and the surrounding nature are unforgettable.

From one ski resort to another in less than an hour

The attraction of skiing in Slovenia is that you can try different ski resorts in one day due to the short distances involved. You will find well-maintained ski runs that are suitable for beginners and advanced skiers everywhere. In addition to skiing, you will also be enjoying beautiful vistas of the surrounding landscape.

A single ski pass valid for several ski slopes

If you find it difficult to choose a ski slope or you simply want to ski down a good number of Slovenian ski slopes, then a single pass purchase is the right choice for you. You can purchase either family or individual ski pass tickets, season passes, or multi-day ski passes, all valid for major Slovenian ski slopes.

Fun in the snow – with or without skis

Even if you don’t ski, you won’t get bored in Slovenia in winter. Whizz down the slopes on sledges – by day or by night. Put on your winter hiking boots or snowshoes and explore the snow-covered landscape. Set out among the forests and snowy meadows on cross-country skis. You can also indulge in something more extraordinary.

No excuses!

Do you lack suitable ski equipment or skiing skills? Don’t worry, you won’t miss out on having fun in the snow. Most Slovenian ski resorts have ski repair shops and rental centres for skiing and other winter sports equipment, enabling you to enjoy activities in the snow. Ski schools are also available for taking your first steps in winter sports. Attend skiing courses or choose individual lessons with experienced ski and snowboard instructors. Children can practise their zigzagging on adjusted polygons.
