It treats patients in the fields of skin and venereal diseases and allergology . The hospital is divided into a clinic for skin and venereal diseases, which houses an outpatient clinic, a ward , a day ward , a light treatment center and a venereal disease clinic, and an allergy clinic, which houses an outpatient clinic and pediatric and adult wards. The hospital also has an allergy research center, an allergen laboratory and a skin pathology laboratory.
The skin and allergy hospital conducts clinical research related to the treatment of atopic dermatitis , psoriasis , asthma and skin cancers , among others . The hospital is the first in the country to start food tolerance for children (eg milk, wheat and nuts). New treatments for pollen allergy are available.
